Carrollwood Pool & Spa

This luxury custom pool and spa project is located in the Carrollwood area of Tampa, Florida , and was designed to function as a true extension of the home. From the initial design phase, the goal was to create a pool that felt architecturally connected to the house — transforming the backyard into a seamless outdoor living room.

The 43’ x 33’ custom swimming pool features a versatile depth range from 3.5’ to 6’, making it ideal for both relaxation and entertaining. A large 15’ x 11’ sunshelf anchors the layout, complete with a 6’ x 6’ spa built directly into the shelf for a fully integrated look and feel.

The pool interior is finished with PebbleTec PebbleSheen Blue Surf , a premium surface chosen for its durability and modern water color. Surrounding the pool is Myra Shell natural stone decking paired with 12” x 24” bullnose coping , creating a cohesive transition between the pool, patio, and home.

For added visual detail, Aquabella Manhattan Series Grand Central 2×3 glass tile was used at the waterline, spa, and jewelry banding. Five deck jet water features are built directly into the decking, providing subtle movement and sound while maintaining the clean architectural design. A discreet 3” deck drain was installed to ensure proper water management without disrupting the finished look.

This custom Carrollwood pool is powered by a full Jandy equipment system , including a 2.7 HP ePump, CS200 cartridge filter, TruClear 35k salt system, JXi 400,000 BTU propane heater, nicheless RGBW WaterColors LED lighting, and iAquaLink automation — delivering efficient operation, simple control, and year-round comfort.

A panoramic screen enclosure completes the project, preserving open sightlines while improving comfort and usability in Tampa’s climate.
