This custom pool and outdoor living area, located in the family-friendly Live Oak Preserve neighborhood near Wesley Chapel and Pebble Creek, is designed as a secure, luxurious, and fully automated backyard sanctuary. It skillfully blends a full-sized swimming area and spa with essential safety features and a high-end fire amenity.
Design, Safety, and Aesthetics
The pool features an overall footprint of 34’ long by 22’ wide , with a depth ranging from a shallow 3 feet to a deep 6 feet , accommodating both casual play and dedicated swimming. The attached 10’ x 6’ spa provides ample space for relaxation.
Integrated Relaxation: The pool includes a large sunshelf complete with an umbrella holder for shaded lounging, further enhanced by two LED bubblers that add subtle light and water movement.
Child Safety: Safety is paramount, with a full child safety fence installed around both the pool and spa perimeter, ensuring a secure environment for families.
Outdoor Fire Feature: The space is anchored by a dramatic 60″ long by 2′ tall Carson Fire Pit . This propane-fueled feature, with its realistic faux wood appearance, provides a sophisticated gathering point for evening entertainment.
Surrounding Landscape: The pool area is framed by beautiful, light-toned stone and complementary turf. The pool and spa edges feature 12×24 bullnose coping in elegant Biscotti Travertine . The expansive deck is paved with Myra Shell Limestone 24×24 pavers laid in a sophisticated offset pattern, which leads to a designated AGW 100 Turf area for a soft, low-maintenance playground space.
Water Quality and High-End Automation
The interior finish and equipment selection prioritize dazzling water color, energy efficiency, and simple, comprehensive control.
Interior Finish: The pool is finished with PebbleTec PebbleBrilliance Glacier Bay , a premium surface that incorporates shimmering glass beads to create a spectacular, vibrant light blue water color .
Pentair Automation Suite: The entire system is managed via the Pentair IntelliCenter automation, providing remote control of all functions. The pool is powered by a high-efficiency Pentair IntelliFlo3 3HP variable speed pump, filtered by a Pentair CC150 Cartridge Filter , and heated by a quiet, cost-effective Pentair Ultratemp 145k BTU Heat Pump .
Sanitation: Water is sanitized using the low-maintenance Pentair IntelliChlor40 Salt System , providing soft, luxurious, naturally chlorinated water.
