The photographs follow the build

Two frames in this set are not a finished pool. One is the shell with rebar and wooden forming stakes still standing and no water in it; another shows the poured concrete steps and the grading stakes around them.

The finished pool sits inside freshly laid sod in a diamond pattern, which is what the last week of a pool build actually looks like.

Questions about building in Zephyrhills

What finish and deck did you use on the Zephyrhills pool?

PebbleTec PebbleSheen French Gray for the interior, which reads slate-gray in the water. The deck alternates 24″ × 24″ Ice White sandblasted marble with artificial turf in a turf-and-stone pattern, edged in matching marble coping.

Can a pool both heat and cool the water?

Yes. The Zephyrhills build runs a Jandy VersaTemp 103k BTU heat-and-chill pump, which heats the water in cooler months and chills it during peak summer heat.

How long does a pool take to build?

About eight weeks once HOA approval and permits are complete, depending on design complexity, weather and material availability. After the pool is filled we run 28 days of startup maintenance while the interior finish cures and the water chemistry balances, and every pool we build carries a 5-year workmanship warranty.
