What we built in Valrico
The work behind this page: Valri Forest.
Valri Forest
A compact footprint that still does both jobs: 20 feet by 12 at 3.5 to 4.5 feet, with a 6′ × 6′ spa integrated into it. The interior is PebbleSheen in Blue Granite for a deeper, medium-blue water. Decking is 12×24 Mykonos white marble in a leathered finish, with matching bullnose coping, and the waterline carries Artistry in Mosaics 2″ × 6″ Moonscape Blue.

A pool and a spa in a standard backyard
The 20′ × 12′ footprint maximizes swim and soak functionality in a standard residential backyard. Valri Forest is a Pulte Homes neighborhood, not an estate lot — and it still takes a pool and a spa.
The leathered finish on the marble is the detail worth noticing. It leaves enough texture underfoot to hold when wet, while keeping the deck bright and cool.
Questions about building in Valrico
Can you fit a pool and a spa into a small backyard?
The Valri Forest build in Valrico is 20′ × 12′ at 3.5 to 4.5 feet with a 6′ × 6′ spa integrated into it.
Do you install propane heaters as well as natural gas?
Both. The Valrico pool and spa are heated by a Jandy JXi 400,000 BTU propane heater; the Sunset Park build in South Tampa runs the natural-gas version of the same heater.
How long does a pool take to build?
About eight weeks once HOA approval and permits are complete, depending on design complexity, weather and material availability. After the pool is filled we run 28 days of startup maintenance while the interior finish cures and the water chemistry balances, and every pool we build carries a 5-year workmanship warranty.
